“Timeshare Resale Fraud” is when someone calls you promising that they can sell your timeshare for thousands of dollars or claiming that they have interested buyers for your timeshare. They usually charge an upfront fee of hundreds or even thousands of dollars to “sell” the timeshare, when in reality all you are paying for is an advertisement on their website. Most of these companies are based in FLORIDA.
